Hi,
Anyone else around Harrogate HG1 area suffering from seriously slow downloads? Surfing is fine, but im struggling to get 0.23mb download speeds.

Ive always had a great connection download wise, the past couple of days have been pants.

Tried a modem re-boot etc..

Very, very slow in Middlesbrough (TS5) tonight too :( 500ms+ pings

Well I just spoke to TS - I was told that I have been put onto 1mb for going over my download limit today........ shame I had my laptop with me the whole time.

He then proceeded to argue the fact that my Downstream power levels were different to what I was telling him and told me he wouldnt send out an engineer. YAY.

I've been suffering from slow 20meg in HG1 ever since they upgraded it last June. I've never seen 20meg yet, I average about 5meg.:mad:

im in HG1 and i get full 20meg all day, it never slows below 18meg ! i reckon you might have an issue with your modem or power levels !

Got my issue sorted... turned out to be a loose connection where the cable came into the house. Whats funny is the poor tech that came out was trying to figure things out for ages, he even swapped out my 250 modem for a 256 model. In the end he wiggled the connection outside and Viola! Problem solved!
