Since about friday i havent been able to access a lot of different websites (facebook, ebay, google mail to name a few). Sometimes i can get onto the site but when i try any links on the page they wont load anymore and when i try to ping the address theres no reponse

I've done the the usual, reset router, modem and computer, tried pluggin straight into the modem, cleared cookies & cache but still no luck.
Below is the ping for a few websites, as you can see i can access this site properly some of the others have a fairly high ping and even though i can access google, sometimes i can access my google email account but then 5 mins later i cant

Is anyone else in the area having the same problems?

(Oh and hello, i've been a long time lurker of the site but finally got myself signed up after tryin to access my email for the last hour so)

I've been having all internet activity suddenly stop dead both ways for a few minutes, several times a day... like someone is pulling a plug somewhere. It affects internet and usenet at the same time. Can't ping during these blank times of course, and all levels, etc look correct.

I cannot see anything wrong with the above, all within normal ranges and you are on 20Mb as well.

I've just got off the phone to vm tech support, went through all the usual checks and what not and was told me it is some american routers that are having the problems so it was out of vm's control but they were having the same problems as i was accessing some websites but said it hopefully should be sorted. They said to try opendns but i already am (after reading some of the posts on here) so make of that what you will

Is anyone else having trouble accessing ebay today?
