How can I tell if my ntl Internet speed has been updated, I have checked the updated web site where it says that Uddingston area has been completed, I think this is my area, but there has been no change in my speeds, I have rebooted my modem, still no change

best thing to be would do a speed check, i normally use www.speedtest.net.

If the results are lower than expected, I would phone them up, allthough they masy just say to leave it. I know that when i was upgraded it took a few hours before it actually worked to its maximum speed.

ok i would give them a ring, it may just be that it will take time before it is fully updated, or they may have to change something for you.

You must be in the Renfrew region as the other area not yet upgraded in Scotland is Edinburgh is a EX-Telewest region.

Area 28 is Glasgow/Renfrew Ex-NTL and is TBC

Uddingston area is actually EX-Telewest.
