Hi,

I have just upgraded to Virgins L Broadband,
which is apparently 10mb,
and I occasionally get 10mb speed (as says www.speedtest.net),
but mostly it clocks at 2mb speed...

I dont understand, worth ringing virgin about?

Many thanks
TheGoose

Its upto 10Mb not 10Mb so if you're getting 2Mb now the line you're on probably is full or bandwidth management is in effect.

Try www.speedtest.bbmax.co.uk at least it is UK based, and if your still not happy then ring Tech support.

Try downloading four simultaneous files and add up the combined speed for all, on a 10mb connection it should be around 1200kbps, try this site.

No, it stops 5 hours after you first break the threshold before 9pm.
