I have NTL broadband and TV
I use a NTL Cable modem with a wireless router for computers around the house
I want to do away with wireless by having 3 cable modems around the house attached direct to NTL cable
Can this be done
Will it work
Do I have to get modems from NTL or is there a third party supplier
Sorry, that isn't possible
Virgin only supply one cable modem per property.
You cannot buy modems from anyone. Virgin rent you a modem when you take out their service

Easy option (assuming you are willing to do the wiring, which you seem to be): Have one router, disable the wireless then wire the house for Ethernet.

If you do as Stuart says you can have 4 PCs connected via ethernet around your house:)

Or more with switches (or an 8 port router)
