hi all.

just upgraded to 20mb broadband, but after doing a few speed tests ive found im getting just over 5mb....up from 4.
is it possible that my old modem( 6 years old) is not up to the job.

ive been in contact with technical support who told me to reboot in safe mode with networking, which didn't amount to much either.

cheers

You most definitely need a new modem as any Ambit modem below the 200 series is not 20 meg capable.

They cannot charge for the call as it is their fault as they mis sold the 20 meg package knowing your modem is not capable 20 meg.

Any arguments ring 150 and wait for the thinking of leaving Virgin option and tell them why you chose that option.
