Missing E-mail Address

I have setup several emails address for different uses, one was for my dad.

while sorting out a problem on this system (avast needed a new reg no.) this was sent to my dad address.

but when I tried to open it in outlook it kept asking for a password.

When I checked the emails on the VM it wasn't there.

I haven't deleted it.

When I tried to recreate it already exists.

would VM have deleted it?

hes not sent any but he has received emails

Not sure if that counts TBH. Even if Virgin have deleted they would be able to recover it for you as well

Not if its already been allocated to another user, which is what the O/P suggests in his first post.

That error will also come up if it has been deleted recently, so someone else can't get it

Call tesh support.They should be able to retrieve your old email address.
