Hi All
Just got my V+ box installed and i noticed that there is an ethernet port in the back of the box.
Does this mean that the V+ box has a modem within it?
Thanks

Nope the ethernet port is disabled.
The STB is a generic type made for more than one cable provider. The cable co decides what should or should not be active.

You just need a standard DSL / Cable router with wireless. That connects via ethernet to your cable modem. Don't get an ADSL router. Plenty of discussions of suitable routers in the networking forum.
