Hi there,
Can anyone tell me the IP addresses of Virgin Medias DNS servers please as I think my router is using different ones.

Mines using

Primary DNS Server : 62.31.176.39
Secondary DNS Server : 194.117.134.19

Both of those DNS servers RDNS to Blueyonder. If you are ex-Blueyonder you should be using those really, the other ones are for ex-NTL and aren't on the same network.

Lol thank god for that, I am ex-Blueyonder. I thought my router had been hacked or something.

I use some odd one: 4.2.2.3
Which is Verizon DSL in the US, though their DNS is particularly fast.

You get different dns servers depending on where you are,in ex telewest areas if you do a nslookup on them then you will find the are all ns(a number)-(three letter area code).blueyonder.etc People in ex telewest areas will on occasion have nameservers with ntl in the hostname as well, but I can't remember the format.
