Pushed out by Virgin! :td:

Hi currently on Virgin 2mb but was only playing £10 this has now jumped to & £18. I have only BB With Virgin now as I got rid of my phone and TV service and I’ve always had BT ass our main phone.I’m quite happy to pay £10 for this service but £18 is seriously not worth it. My neighbour is on BT Home Hub for 8mb service and he gets around 5-6Mb in reality. But I’m also getting offers from Sky BB as well and Be. I don’t really download a lot its mainly Browsing, e-mail and the odd game of FM08 online and BF2….
So I gave Virgin a call and the guy would not budge, said it had now moved to £18 so got my line tested for “Be” and “SkyBB” both offering £24 for 24Meg – be and 16Meg –sky both unlimited.

My line and exchange seem to have been recently upgraded (ADSL2+) so this is a real option as we already have BT as our main phone and its

Anyway what really annoys me is my friend is on Virgin and is on the 4Meg BB for the strange price of £12.07 to be exact, this he has been on for over a year. I’d rather stay with Virgin as I’ve been here since the cabletel days.
