I have a d-link one. Was easy to set up and never had any problems with it at all. Ive had a few different brands before and couldnt even get them set up! Not sure how its going to cope with 50mb i suspect i will have to upgrade it though..

So we are looking for a Router that has been removed from the internet but can still be found if we observe the gravitational effect on the other Routers?:erm:

That's the exact same one as I use lostandconfused, don't use wireless though.
The gigabit switch seems ok though for wired :)

The average throughput on a 54Mbps (802.11g) wireless connection is between 20 - 30Mbps so not sufficient for a 50Mbps internet connection. The 54Mbps figure quoted is a theoretical maximum.
The average throughput for the newer draft n standard is around 70 - 80Mbps but the theoretical maximum is around 200Mbps. The standard should be ratified as 802.11n late this year or early next year.

This is correct, and MagicMans post above tells you why. Although i'd argue and say g is only good for 15-20Mb tops.
