Hi

This is usually caused by a proxy being present in the browser. Check in your Internet options and untick the proxy server box.

Usually if you get a refused message on the broadband registration page, it means you're in an ex Telewest area.

You need to phone the activation line to register the modems MAC address.
(I forget the number, but CS should be able to point you in the right direction if it's not on your Self Install documentation)

Ahh that makes good sense as the code was obtained by me but never requested by vm, the only thing is i was ntl not telewest but i assume this makes no difference..
I will get onto vm as i have a feeling you hit the nail on the head with this,

:drunk: will let you know the outcome thanks millions.. martin:)
