Hi
I have had many installations before without any problems, but now have a major one.
I have a Phillips HDTV, Sony DVD Recorder and V+ Box. The Installer connected the V Box to the TV via HDMI lead and I have linked the the remainder as follows: V-Box to DVD using Scart, DVD to TV using Scart, V-Box to TV using Scart. The TV plays programmes using one of the HDMI slots and I can play DVD's using one of the TV extension slots. I cannot record direct programmes to the DVD recorder or record programmes from the V-Box memory, which it says I can in the V-Box manual.

Help!!!

I think the Scarts are disabled on the V+ box when it is switched to HDMI.
If that is the case you would have to change the settings on the V+ back to scart .Just make sure you have a scart fom the V+ to your tv awell or you will loss your pictures on the tv .
