No you are showing a DL speed of 2.1Mbps which is slightly over 2meg (in english) or Half of what a 4megger gets and 1\10th of what a 20megger gets yet your upload speed is good for a 20meg connection.

You are having issues with your DL speed.

This is my 4meg connection LINKAGE (http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results/id/120372028259940225418.html) which is almost constantly good :D

I'm jealous.

My 4mb speed seems to be getting slower. I seem to getting close to the dial-up speed.

I just used that speed test and it gave me a downstream results of 3127.80 Kbps which is about 391KBps, but I can fire up Grabit and be downloading from Usenet at a steady 480KBps, so don't put too much faith in speed test results. I have a 4MB connection BTW.

I am on a 20meg line and believe it or not my vodafone laptop broadbnd through an express 34 card is faster, I was shocked when I got it, there is a downside though you only have a 3 gig download limit and you have to be in a good 3g area.

Look at these for superfast 4mb speeds:

Fri, 22 Feb 2008 23:34:39 UTC

Test 1: 1024K took 52281 ms = 19.6 KB/sec, approx 162 Kbps, 0.16 Mbps
Test 2: 1024K took 66554 ms = 15.4 KB/sec, approx 127 Kbps, 0.12 Mbps
Test 3: 1024K took 39155 ms = 26.2 KB/sec, approx 216 Kbps, 0.21 Mbps
Test 4: 2048K took 101997 ms = 20.1 KB/sec, approx 166 Kbps, 0.16 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 168 Kbps, 0.16 Mbps

Just look at the figures in brackets. It says you're getting 2.4Mbps. Your connection is up to 20Mbps, so by going on that speed test alone, you are getting slower speeds than me and I'm on the 4Mbps tier.

Yep, those speeds are alright but I don't think it was due to your modem since levels were fine.
