Is this right ? I just called Customer services in India as im on the 3 for 30 pounds package ( m Broadband ) and I was told if i wanted to upgrade to to 20MB i would have to pay 37 pounds extra and it would be 67 pounds. I asked the indian man to double check and confirm this and he said yes 67 pounds if you want 20MB.

Umm surely i could pay line rental to BT and get ADSL seperately and it would be CHEAPER !!

Well Im on 3 for 35 which gives me L BB and I was told that if we were upgrade to XL, we would pay the difference between the 2 regular prices (£37-£25=£12) so would be paying £47 all together.

yes it does seem too high. I get 20mb l tv and phone for £44 a month.

Call back and speak to a different person. As an example I just called them to see about putting a v (NOT V+) in upstairs, and they insist it would cost me £150 to put it in.

I think some customer services are less well informed than others.

It would be an extra £19 (BB XL is £37 - BB M £18 = £19)

As above post, an extra £19 per month it would cost you.

Too many dumbasses employed by virgin customer care :P not me tho!!! <3

Again, the install for the v box would be £30 then £9.50 per month mate.

V box and V+ box is a total mixup and happens with LOADS of customers and LOADS of staff, vm's stupid naming scheme has buggered it up, you'd think it would be easy? ha

V+ is still £75.00 btw.

I find it's much better to use VM's internet site to find out how much upgrades/new systems will cost. You just go through all the pages and answer all the questions and it comes up with a price at the end.

You thought they would have checked the training before getting rid of the excellent UK based service!

I flatly refuse to call abroad now because they are so useless.
