Just a quick question, got the v.i.p. package, all running great, so far i'm getting 19mb on b/b speedtest.

My V+ box is connected to my hdtv with an hdmi cable as is my dvd recorder, both seem to be working fine....

question is ... I still have the scart coming from my v+ box into the tv, so do i need this scart left connected for any reason as from what i've read the scart is disabled, will it cause a problem if i remove it?

i still have my analogue arial connected, why? i dont know, prob so we can pick the freeview channels up as extras!!

cheers Ram :dunce:

you can remove it, as you say the scart on the v+ box is disabled when in hdmi mode

dvd connected to tv with hdmi, just scart from v+ box to dvd for archiving ;)

you'd only need the scart from the video scart socket on v+ to the dvd recorder for archiving the recorded stuff, but then a scart from v+ -> tv wouldn't do that :p:
