After poor ports of 360 games to PS3 (Orange box), developers are now going to start creating their games for PS3 to take advantage of the hardware capabilities, and then port down to other formats. An example is EA's Burnout.

Bit of good news for sony at last. Lets hope that the games are top quality on all consoles as poor ports are annoying weather it be pc to console or 360 to PS3 and vis versa.

I read this guy in a interview he gave to EDGE. It's more Sony spin until we hear the developers say it themselves. No doubt Microsoft would say the opposite "Developers are telling us they prefer the 360 blah blah blah"

Well it quotes EA doing this with Burnout.

Poor ports from 360 to PS3 (cough, Orange Box) have been a pain in the ass for Sony, but the tables are turning, says SCEA boss Jack Tretton.

"We hear better and better things from the third party publishers everyday," said Tretton about improving development on PS3.

"We are now starting to see developers creating games on PS3 and then porting them to other platforms such as EA's Burnout," he added.
