You could grab a bucket and go out cleaning cars for a fiver a pop. You'll be surprised how many people won't have the time to have done it themselves and you'll them have money to buy some proper webspace and some books to learn that web making stuff.

Spin them a story about saving up to buy books and they'll be happy to oblige.
