For the past week or so

my internet connection has gone downhill, the net is totally un-usable during the day time

and will only be usable from 2am onwards

whats the good in that ????

heres my results from my modem, is there anything wrong with em ???

Downstream power level is too high!

A tech needs to visit you to correct this. This will more than likely be causing the slow speeds.

Are you familiar with the support newsgroups?

i've used it before

once or twice

so all i do is call someone out to fix the problem ???

and it should be sorted ???

and where bouts you from in the midlands

the downstream power level wont be causing slow speeds. A downstream power level out of range would cause loss of connection not a slow one.

Well thats what happens more or less

i get loss of connection

its getting to the point where im just gonna call Virgin up one day and cancel allllll there services

Yep, i had the same problem myself. Slow speeds had a tech called out because the downstream power level was too high. He went outside and sorted it at the green box.

Everything is fine now.

Well, thats what im gonna do then

call out a technician, see if he sorts it

if not, then im off elsewhere

no point sayin where, im sure you know

heres a clue, go outside and look up :p
