This past week my on peak ping (6-12 or weekends) with Virgin ADSL has finally subsided. At first I thought maybe they were sorting their over subscribed infrastructure which has caused horrible access in my area since signing up to them (going below even ASA definitions of broadband). What do I discover? That now suddenly exactly during peak hours, Ventrilo spikes to insane amounts when being used despite a low ping to the server. The same is occuring with all Virgin DSL users I know and on multiple Ventrilo servers. This brings me to the conclusion they're shaping it, which just may be the final straw and time for me to jump ship from the worst ISP in this country.
