Hi,
! am not usually a big downloader but have been downloading a lot of files recently and yesterday downloaded about 12 gb - 3 linux dvd isos - just to try out which is best.
It took about 4 hours and I was downloading at between 1.5 and 2.2gb and i never got shaped at all.
I also downloaded about 5 gb today and it was the same.
Has stm stopped or doesn't it come into place on weekends?
I am on the 20mb xl pack

Shaping might only really apply to those who abuse it all the time.

This was asked on the newsgroups a few days ago.

It does seem STM hasnt been on this weekend in a few places o.0

Just remember it was trial and error on VMs part.
