Hi,
I called VM a couple of weeks ago on the tech support line because my service had slowed down to about a quarter of the 20Meg speed for download, upload was and still is rock steady at 750 kbps.
The tech support guy ran some tests and confirmed that it was a VM problem, he even credited the cost of the call (£4.60) back to my account and arranged for an engineer visit.
The engineer called today and didn't even come into the house !!
He said:-
"All Stafford 20Meg customers are only seeing a 5Meg or worse service due to a bottleneck on the common road - VM are looking into it"
"My MAC address has been added to the Stafford list"
"VM are looking into a compensation package for all Stafford customers"
"He will keep me updated as to when it might be fixed"
Any one else in Stafford on 20Meg that can concur with the above ?
