Quick Question BB Registration

Is it possible to set up a new BB registration from another location.(HOUSE)

Reason
My getting on in years Neighbour has decided to Get BB, Engineer came round installed. But my Neighbour has spent 2.5 days trying to register, He has got as far as being given a username, then the web can'nt be displayed, click refreash & End up back at the beginning. now only if lucky get as far as the serial No. page.

I am able to access the pages on my system but donot proceed Just in case it Messes up My BB.

are you using the disc ????
try this 80.5.178.26 (type in where you would type www.ebay.co.uk)
register broadband
enter the serial no::: NTL-CT8-CB485
then it will ask for pin number and surname!!!

Sorry Failed to mention that It is on a Vista H P Op system and not using the disk.

ok make sure pc is turned off
plug in ethernet cable
turn pc on type in ( 80.5.178.26)when pc has finished loading
register bb
serial no:: (NTL-CT8-CB485 )
PIN NO::
SURNAME::
