Broadband Extra - ex-Blueyonder users?

Hey Everyone.

I phoned up technical support (25p/min :shocked:) to get my username and password JUST so I can use BB extras, I can login Email and Selfcare, but when I log into BB extras it says


Your username and / or password is not recognised. Please try again.

Anyone know if ex-Blueyonder network customers can login?

Make sure you are using the original username (the one you got when you first got it installed), and not your nickname (the sub-name for the account) :)

I am using the one with my initials at begining, the code like one, the original.

Have you got any aliases defined and if so have you tried using them?

The only username I was given was rm00*j95** (hope I aint giving out too much).

I can login, selfcare and email, but it brings an error to Broadband plus.

Supposed to be 20Mb but it's more like 2Mb (It's synch'd at modem for 20Mb)

Yeah, it's no longer allowing me to log in.
I was able to when it first became available to BY users.

Someone on the newsgroups was alsol reporting issues logging into this however they solved it by using the URL:

www.virginmedia.com/broadbandextras

Maybe this will work for you.

Working for me, can go to the page in the link and login with ntlworld email address & password, but for some reason it thinks my name is Martin, when it's clearly not!!!

So broadbandextras is working, so must be something to do with your account?

Not working for me either, can I have Martin's username and password. I have no problem logging into selfcare with Telewest/Blueyonder but not to broadband extras.

I've never been able to access it since it became virgin media.. It's an @ntlworld.com address too..

I've been on the 25p TS line about this was on for about an hour, they are puzzled by it. Thankfully they refunded my call.

if you get a monthly newsletter email to your blueyonder account look at the bottom and I have found for everyone I have talked to its the email address at the bottom of the message whoich may be the original or an alias

I've managed to log in to broadband extras as follows:

Username: The one I used to create my webspace. It's an alias that is greyed out in selfcare

Password: The password I use to log in to selfcare and webmail.

So the username is not the one I received on registration, but an alias I created on the primary webmail account.

The password is the one I changed it to in selfcare.
