hi i got a cable modem by ntl it got lights and 4 have to light up and one of them just keeps flashing and when it stops flashing i can go on the internet again but some times it will keep flashing for like 5-10 hours and only come back on for like 10 minutes will some body help me with my cable modem and y it disconnecting all the times.
please some one reply

ntl cable modem its blue and the light which flashes is alled ready
when its stops flashin it mean ready but it takes like 5-10 hours to connect then it just last for like 30 mintues the longest it has been on

Ok, can you open your browser and go to http://192.168.100.1 user name and password are both "root". Can you post your Downstream power level, Downstream SNR and Upstream power level, also your modem logs.

Also what area are you in, The first part of your postcode.

this flashing has been happening since friday

The only thing i can suggest, without any other information, is to get the account holder to ring broadband faults on 0906 212 1111.
