There have been DNS issues recently, but I think they are fixed. Nothing on Service Status.

Wait a bit for it to clear up, if it doesnt, you might be able to switch to a different DNS server temporarily.

Working fine here on default DNS.
It's probably the pikeys trying to steal some copper again! LOL

Have you got any examples that you are having issues with?

weird, the DNS comes up ok for about two minutes and then goes flaky for a couple of minutes.

odd......

Sounds like a capacity error.

If you can get to the virginmedia.support.broadband.cable newsgroup, you can file an issue with the tecchies.

If you do not use newsgroups, you can connect via Outlook Express/Windows Mail (and most probably with other clients, Thunderbird can). Just add a newsgroup account from Accounts, using your email, no need for login stuff.

Ex-ntl server is: news.cable.ntlworld.com

Changed my mind.:) After checking a few sites I appear to be having intermittant issues with bbc and theregister. Mosting working fine, then stalls after clicking a link. They do complete if I wait though.

Its not as bad as oversubscription :P

If you get a tech onto it, you should get it resolved soon :)

If this issue is still ongoing in the morning then PM me your modem MAC, I'll check your modem and uBR.

As always _never_ give out your mac addy to just anyone.
You may want to check with the CF staff before giving me those details, though I will checkout ok :)

No problems over the last 48 hours for me, I'm in TS6 0.
