Intermittent Connection problem

Late last night and all day today my connection has been dropping out. A reboot of the modem gets it back on straight away. However, this is getting uber annoying.Ive had to reset my modem twice just to post this. Details and logs are below if anyone can help

Modem - Webstar DPX100
Router - Linksys WRT54GL
Service - 4 Meg broadband

power levels, frequency and signal to noise ratio in particular

DPX100, an educated guess I would say that possibly your fav frequency is not set.

This will reset the frequency on your modem.

I don't know what area you are in Mrlip but my connection dropped totally last night around the 10 o'clock mark, reset the modem and router (wired) and it came back.
I'm in Stockport for what it's worth, and the connection generally is poor, ie lots of packet loss, at least that what it equates to in a game situation :/
