No internet connection

hey,

just this morning my internet cut out been fine 4 abt 7 months now no problems until now

I have the webstar modem see screenshot, im on the 20mb service CR8 are on exTelewest.

Once the signal is locked the modem lights that r on r the power and activity and every 5 seconds or so the receive light. When i had this installed the engerneer* put some attenuators on the end of the cable that enters the modem (a 10db forward path and a 6 or -6 one) i unscrewed the 10db and i can get a lock on the signal (see screenshot)

Is there a problem with the modem?
Is there a problems with the upstream or downstream


Im currently gonna try ringing vm later as i was on hold for ages any help in the mean time would be gd.

your problem is the downstream receive power, being that low, i not surprised your having problems. Ring BB faults.
