posting this here as the techies might be able to see if anythings going on with my levels sick of the ping pong and i refuse to phone vm up unless i really have to :(.

Your Downstream Power Level of 11.6 dBmV is far to low. If you are ex NTL then in an ideal world it should be in the range of -5.0 dBmV to +5.0 dBmV. I understand that ex Telewest is approx -8.0 dBmV to + +8.0 dBmV. Although in both cases some cable modems can operate successfully slightly outside these limits.

Don’t phone but take yourself over to virginmedia.support.broadband.cable and post your signal levels. Also give them the part of your email address to the left of @

The support team are based in Liverpool and will normally respond within 4 hours. And in your case I would anticipate that they would reply offering a tech visit to sort out your signal problem.

They work 8.00am to 10.00pm

it looks like the config page for a scientific atlanta modem, if you are with ex-telewest then the config page is fine. the pwr lvls for downstream should be -12 to 12. if your getting intermittent connection or slow speeds and the pwr lvl is going over 12 then you'd need a tech out. but if its staying around 11.? then it should be fine
