A friend of ours has already had 2 books published, one in America and the other in the USA.
What he is looking at doing now is getting the first two maybe republished along with the third one that he has written but all through English publishing houses.
I`ve googled this and all i seem to get is advice on actually writing books.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers.:)

There is a huge list of publishers on http://www.firstwriter.com. It is a subscription site but it is only £1.99 a month. The site also lists literary agents who might be able to help.

You might want to consider self publishing, it's how we normally get ours done ;)

Btw would this be better in 'Lifestyle'

snip!
one in America and the other in the USA.

Are they not one in the same? ;)

Google for publish on demand, IIRC even Amazon does this.

I have a friend who used http://www.lulu.com/ to publish her own book.
It can also help you sell it too, creates an isbn number for you, etc.
It also lets you create CD albums too if you are a music artist.

Self-publishing is similar to, but not the same as, vanity publishing. This site seems helpful: http://www.vanitypublishing.info/index.html

If you don't want to be screwed use lulu.com it's run by one of the Red Hat founders.
Unless you have a best seller you will receive bugger all from a normal publisher, they are like the music industry on that score (pun intended).
