My brother has 2MB internet and being a school student paying the 2MB price is a bit much. Was wondering is it possiable to downgrade to 1MB or something else? He dont want dialup.

And if so how much would it then cost?

How much is he paying, Tell him to ring up and speak to retentions, he could get free broadband with other companies, they do not need to know the full facts.

there paying the standard price for the 2MB BB What ever that is now. My brother has wanted to go with Sky becuase of the fack you can get 8MB BB Cheaper with there deals. Only thing is there is not BT Land line. Ive said about rining up CS and they will do soon becuase ideally he would like something a bit cheaper so havving a slower speed.

If He's paying £17.99 for 2Mb on its own. or plus any other service, needs to make some noise about the 2 for 20 - Free TV M is a new service, after all?

If it's a VM phone line @ £11 and BB M @ £17.99, then that just isn't sustainable against the competition.

With no BT line, this may be one option...
£10 for 1GB/mo
£15 for 3GB/mo
£25 for 7GB/mo
Note that the 10p/MB over quota charge works out to £100 per GB over package!!!!!!

Also need to be in a "turbo" area for full speed, maybe to use at all.

you can get a 1mb connection on ex-telewest, think you need to contact cust relations to get it and its £10 a month for it.
