How do I get New Modem for 20MB?

Without phoning up at 25p/min.

I upgraded last week to XL and my Surfboard 4100 isn't compatible above 14MB or so. Can anyone tell me how to get a new modem without phoning tech support?

I had a similar problem a few months back, I e-mailed tech support from the VM help pages.

It took 2 weeks for a reply, but they did replace by surfboard modem with a new one within 24 hours. Even though the said wait 14 days for delivery. I still only get 5meg out of it though 24/7. But it's a marked improvment on the 300k i was getting.

Just to add, put in all your specs in the mail, it may help speed things up. I got a far better response via e-mail to uk based tech support then the con I had with going through the calcutta scrib sheet support.
£10 on calls to say empty your temp folders, when i already told them my modem was 8 years old!
I.e old modem spec, speeds and current internet package.
