I think I'm lucky that I'm getting those results for now. I usually get worse.... :/

the speeds shown there are fine, but remember that speed tests aren't always reliable

to test download speeds go to
gamefiles.virginmedia.com
dl 2 files at the same times

check what the download speed ur gettin is
a lot of factor can affect the speed the speedtest site registers

Mmmmm Virgin Media have supposedly increased my broadband speed from 4mb to 10 mb today as part of a trial. I guess they haven't increased it yet as it appears to be slower than it was in March.
