just registered to say thanks for all the help on here, didnt have to ask any questions because everything i needed has been asked and fully answered loads of times by u all, i upgraded from 2mb to 20mb and found all the tricks to get the full speed, just got me new black modem and had the mac changed over so hopefully when im back home from work i should be at the full 20mb.

yeah ive got it in my faves now, wud of took us days sussing about the mac address linking with me modem and never wud of thought me router wud of bottlenecked it

its now 7:30pm uk and got me new modem router and done that simple speed check and getting 17mb consistantly, wud think now is a busy time for net as well in uk

Sounds pretty good for this time of night. I'm lucky to see 10meg here. Full speed at 2.00 in the morning though. :rolleyes:
