Hey peeps, i have a very weird problem with my current account. Just looked online (after getting my pin reset because i breeched security :dunce:), and there was £1.97 in there, so i thought id transfer this to my savings. Anyway did that, and then it showed £3.97 and then £7.97. Now im not dumb, but i thought when you transfer money from one account to the other it decreased in value. Not as the case may be.

You sure your transfering the right way? Is your saving going down? Seems like its rounding up, ie first time £2 next time £4.

Or is the current account going further and further into debit?

Not being funny, but is there a little minus sign - next to the total figure? Or does it say OD?

You may wish to contact the bank by phone, to explain what happened, to try and forestall any possible bank charges for your massive -£7.97 overdraft. ;)

I think if its less than one day you don't get charged, but i'm not 100% on that. Could vary between accounts.

I believe most banks only check at the end of the banking day
