Virgin Status Line shutdown?

Has the virgin status line shutdown now? I tried dialing 0800 5610061 it doesn't tell you about any outages or problems now and just says to unplug your modem for 2 mins and switch it back on..

If it doesn't work call the premium rate number? :mad:

It then hangs up on you!

When you call this number and it asks to enter your virgin phone number, you are the presented with a list of options, choose internet and if a recorded announcement detailing outages in your area is not listed,then there are no major problems.

Although if you really need to get online, you could try using dial up by using your same user name and password and setting the dial up number to 179 or your local dial up number,then go to the Virgin Media service status page. You will be charge 3p per minute for this internet access,however,claim a refund when you get your next bill.

For info about virgin internet press 1
For info about virgin tv press 2
For info about phone press 3

PRESSED 1

If you broadband press 1
If you use dial up press 2

PRESSED 1

If your having problem getting online heres what to do next, unplug your modem for 2 mins restart your PC...

Well there isn't much info you can have on a recorded line for Broadband internet because of amount of possible problems that can occur.

However, there should be general information about how to use email,PWP site builder and information on how to install or uninstall Virgin Broadband software.
