Dear friends,
I am on unlimited talk and broadband package for twenty pounds per month. I have been using 0844-439-9898 for calling to India and has been paying the bills for them through my monthly VM bills.Since more than a week I am unable to get connected to these numbers. I rang customer service of virgin media for enquiry -- "you are in que' held me for more than ten minutes and then asking me why cant I use phone cards for international calls. Has anybody else experienced this problem. Presently my phone is banned from such numbers. Any advice and suggestions are welcome.

are you banned for calling all 0844 numbers or just particular ones?

might be worth signing up to 1899 - 6p per min to India and includes mobiles I think so not too bad. Certainly beats 59p or 79p you'd pay on Virgin

Think you need to clarify what your situation is because your original post and poll is confusing.
