been using the set top box for our broadband for about 3 years now.we're getting VIP in a few weeks which means we're getting a modem.
we have a xp laptop and recently got a vista basic computer and at the same time got a netgear wireless router.everything is currently working as it should but i'm a bit nervous when we get the modem in case we can't get on the net.
is there anything i should do to the computers or router to make it easy for me ?
thanks

Should be fairly straight forward, the engineer usually makes sure you have connection directly to the Internet via the modem, he won't configure your router though.

Hope that helps for starters.
