Hi,

I'm scheduled to get 20Mb today. Is there any chance I'll get it before I go to bed? I tried resetting my modem but it's still getting a 2Mb config file. Does the upgrade require human action at VM's end?

I really want to download the whole Internet right now :D

I just hope when you do get your upgrade I hope you won't get upset and start yet another thread about slow speeds on 20 Mb :banghead:

I find that cap absolutely stupid

What's the point of 20mb if your capped before your kettle boils

That's why I moved to sky

I'd rather have a constant 13mb rather than a 20 / 5mb Deal on Virgin or whatever It's called this week

I agree with you, rather have a constant 13mb say than a **** poor 5mb, but i wont ever go back to a BT line with the trouble and hassle i had in the past so im kinda stuck with this, just wonder what on earth silly limits they going to put on the 50mb if they ever get round to releasing it.

agree with you chamoan,as in my other post

i was so releived to get 20mb and before i new it i was capped

and what make matters worse is im not getting anywhere near 20mb,its balanced between 14-16mb.i will give it a week or so,as im not in any contract anymore and if it isnt sorted im offski

if they intend of capping me after 3gb download(peak),i expect a full 20mb when im not

but not everyone lives by an exhange so 20mb/5mb is still brilliant

Dont forget all you people who are downloading loads of data are affecting everyone elses speeds in your area. Its only fair that you should be capped.

mine seems very unstable, going up and down constantly from 11-18mb, but staying more round 15mb, better than a kick in the ********** i spose.

But are you getting speed of over 14Mb/s when you download a big file? The speed tests don't give a true picture apart from the one listed on Cable Forum :p:

Question whats better a kick in the ********** or getting 4 / 5Mb/s when your on the 20Mb/s service???? on second thoughts you are right :D

So your location must be a village with four houses, a pub, church and 50% of the village on ADSL :D

Yes, I can sustain 20Mb/s from a single file :D
