NTL Home 100/120 and 20Mb Broadband

Just a post to let people know - sorry if it has been posted before.

The Ambit 100 and 120 modems are NOT 20Mb capable. the modem upgrade website has been updated so that it now says you need a new modem.

EDIT: i firmly believe my NTL120 suffered a serious miscarriage of justice.

EDIT2:I`ll take that back btw....your not 3 months late as they only changed their stance on said modems very recently.:)

I`ve been suffering the new upgrade for 3 months though...with both old & new modems

another example of poor customer service.

after checking their website 3 months ago to verify my modem would be ok before moving onto 10mb and asking someone from cs to confirm i wouldnt need to change my ntl 100 i stupidly assumed they would contact me when they changed their advice.

whats soo hard about e-mailing or sending a letter to customers informing them of this change ?
at the very least a prominent message on the frontpage of the vm website might have been usefull.

i guess im just being awkward and unreasonable, i must make more of an effort to develop a obsessive-compulsive disorder and check every single page of their website for changes to their advice on a daily basis.
