WAP is seperate - See link below for tariffs Virgin Mobile Bites section:-

http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/genericContent.do?contentId=payasyougo.tarrif.shop .sm018

Also any unused minutes or texts for the month, roll over for one more month and so on. So if you have only used 100 minutes and or texts the following month, you will get 300+200 = 500 any minutes and 300+200 = 500 texts.

You also get £5 off your first month and £2 free credit when sign up for online access to your account.

Thats what I did,so basically my first bill would be £3 plus 10p for a customer service call. That is what I call good value!

Can you get this if you are already a Virgin PAYG customer and want to transfer your number or is it for new numbers only?

Lunatic Mick

Was on PAY as you go and they altered everything with same number, same sim card and just had to set up direct debit. All done and working within an hour.

You can check online or by dialling 789 from yourt handset. The balance is updated immediately, the online call log takes 20 - 30 mins to update.

Is it still restricted to 2 sims per household or has it been increased?

Jules
20-09-2007, 17:49
Well they still wont let me have the offer, strange as I have just got a Argos store card (for emergency's only) and a platinum credit card from Barclays.

Oh well tis there loss

dilli-theclaw
20-09-2007, 17:52
That IS odd, you should see my extrodinary bad credit rating :( due to this and that. Anyway they let me have one and it has a £75 limit on it a month too.

I assume you phoned and moaned at them?

Jules
20-09-2007, 21:37
Yep repeatedly and got nowhere at all :(

Jules

You can port another network number into Virgin at any time - just ring 789 from your Virgin Mobile phone, or 0845 6000 789 from a landline.

Do virgin do business accounts for mobile? AFAIK they only offer residential some restriction by t-mobile, the same reason they dont offer 3g?

but im not sure just what someone told me, id give them a ring see what they said

King Of Fools
13-11-2007, 10:48
Virgin do offer 3G they just do not advertise it very much, plus the data is pretty expensive if you were going to make a lot of use of it (they do not do data bundles, just PAYG).

I just had a look around on the website and according to this web page (http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html/specialoffers/existingcustoffers.html), the offer is now extended until the end of this year!

I am looking to get this deal for both my parents who were recently stung (heavily) on a cashback deal. They are currently with T-Mobile and don't really want to change numbers. Can anyone please confirm that they can keep their number even though their contracts are in their own name and once we bring the numbers across to Virgn Mobile the contracts will be in my name? Also am I right in assuming that I can sign up 2 contracts on this offer?

I currently am on a retention deal, where I have broadband (20MB), XL TV, Asian Package, V+ and Anywhere 200 (landline) at a reduced price. Can anyone let me know if my retention deal is likely to be affected? Or if there are any other problems that I am likely to face (whether I have mentioned them above or not)?
