Anyone else getting no DNS?

Since around 11pm, can't connect to any websites. I've substituted an ADSL providers DNS details into my network settings and surfing is restored.

In Lincoln, ex NTL

Seems fine here but I have openDNS as backup entries in my router so I may not be noticing it.

Must be just a local issue, I have a neighbour with the same problem - so it's not just me :)

I can't get on DigitalSpy

All works now though mainly thanks to my native cunning and networking wizardry.

Seems Yahoo is willing to sign in when it's down so not all bad can still talk to friends.

Many ISPs have DNS problems, if you have any switch to http://www.opendns.com completely free and bloody excellent dns if I must say ;)

I've had no DNS all weekend :-( I think the problems started Thursday night/Friday morning when the village had a power cut (MK45). The modems connected OK and has successuflly DHCP's an IP addess but I cannot connect to any etxernal services. I'll try the OpenDNS DNS servers tonight and check the modem config details (until I can log in here (@ work) I don't know whats good/normal) lol

My t'internet was still not working tonight so I've added the OpenDNS servers to my router and we're in business .
I did check and my modem SNR, dBmv figures all look ok - guess the fact that the openDNS servers are working kinda proves that ;)
