ntl pace stb wont boot up. goes blank after boot message

i have an ntl pace stb . it cycles through tune then goes to boot, but after that display goes black, no power lights or anything. i have tried holding down the down arrow until boot appears but nothing. is it broke or can i reset the box.

I'd suggest it's died. Call to faults me thinks.
