Based on what you've told us so far, we would recommend you upgrade your current modem.

By upgrading your existing kit you'll be ready for a faster, more reliable broadband service.

That certainly was`nt the case the last time i checked with our NTl120.:)

Maybe they just wanted to steady out the flow of modem change requests by only doing the worst ones first. Now's your chance then people who have Ambit 100,120,200 and are unsure of its 20Mb performance. Good spot, xpod. And a worthwhile repeat of topic, eviltwin_sco :)
