I just got up and found...

Feltham - Internet services £34.99

On my -online banking, does anyone have any idea what this is for?

Cheers - Dilli.

No idea, I suggest you ask your bank if you don't recognise it.

Boobies4u is much cheaper ;)

I've just printed the statement off, I guess I'll have to go see what it's all about, but no I wasn't expecting it :(

I had that on my last statement (different amount), it turned out they were payment handlers for my ISP (adsl).

HHHmmm - I am on virgin so it can't be that....

Did the bank tell you what they were taking the cash for? Or did you get the number for the handling people?

Feltham is a place near London (Staines) - not used an internet cafe there or purchased something there recently?

Nope - Never been there.

Report it mate, we had nearly £1000 worth of fraudulent transactions on a statement recently, you need to contact the bank and ask what the payment is and if you don't know what it is for tell them it needs dealing with as a fraudulent transaction. Thanks to Visa and Abbey we have had £1200 missing from our account for over 2 months now :( and we are still waiting for them to finiish "investigating" how they let Visa take money from the account twice in one day when they were correcting our account form the original fraudulent transaction.

All I can think of is it's a subscription for something that I've forgotton about, although that's highly unlikely.

Still if they can't shed any light on it I think I'll ask for my cards to be reissued or whatever to get a new number.

Thanks for everyones help. :tu:

Dilli, check it out with the bank....but knowing you it might be your subscription to any of your lovely sites ;)

Your website where is that hosted???? it could be that mate ;)

In all seriousness I don't actually subscribe to any of those kinds of sites :)...

As for my hosting - a very nice person sorted me out on that one so I don't pay for it.

On my way now, I'll let you know how I get on :).

I got no where with the branch itself.

I called up halifax when I got home and they seem to think it's virgin, which I queried as all my stuff actually says virgin on it!.

Anyway I am going to fill out a dispute form as it's not virgin (who i did call to make sure) and I have just ordered a new card and pin number to be on the safe side.
