Had engineer booked for this Saturday just gone, after 2 weeks of on off net.

After looking at modem status page and seeing upstream was going from 58 to 61, he goes of to fix street cabinet, when he comes back says he cant do anything and has to get someone else out Monday.

So what i want to know is how do i know if anything gets done/fixed? He did say they would put a note though my letter box

Do I wait till net goes again, then wait another 7 days for engineer to come and start the loop again?

So were do I go from here!

Well am gob smacked.

An engineer did come, left a note. Saying the problem is now fixed.

Downstream SNR : 35.2 dB
Upstream transmit Power Level : 49.5 dBmV (this was 54/56 b4 call)

I would like to say thanks to the engineers who I hope have fixed this fault.

Is my view on VM changing!

Just need to get speed right and I would be happy. (5meg on 20meg service) Its not so much the download speed if only they could get the web pages to open faster, with all images first time. Plus I dont know about others but I have trouble getting sky sports web page to open most days.
