Hi,
My Cable Broadband (20mbit XL) died on friday and has been off all weekend.
I'm using a NTL250. Post code SP2 7LF
I did the usually turn off/restart lots of times then called support ( Read out my post code 50 times before they understood it @25p a min) and booked an engineer, the earliest they could do was fri.
I've checked the modems web page and its failing to synchronise, to me it looks as if theres no connection at all. The sync light flash's and the ready light is off. Now I've had this before when some asshat down the road broke into the cabinet and pulled my wire out trying to wire his flat in.
So i think its happened again + plus it looks to me like the problem is external to my house. Is there any way of getting virgin out sooner to look at the street cabinet? Its just a bit frustrating.
Is there anything I can check on the modems webpage to narrow down the problem myself?
