Hi a friend just had her internet installed. I bought 20m of RG6 to run to TV (for analogue signal, FTA reception is very bad due to high rise buildings between her and Crystal Palace), and I noticed my cable was thicker than the installers cable. (at least 1mm more in diameter).
The virgin cable was more the thickness of an RG59 cable I have.
So are not all RG6 created equal, or is it more likely they've used some cheaper cable.
(Which would be a bit odd considering its a cable company)
PS I know analogue may be going off soon. Gives her time to save for a professional aerial installation! Adjacent houses seem to have 15ft masts, and I didn't want to event attempt it myself.
