Lincoln area

Anyone else in the Lincoln area LN1 getting poor speeds. Im on 20Mb and are struggling to get above 2Mb on downloads.

yeah its the same ere in Grimsby (DN34) and as far as i know we are connected to the same UBR or what eva they are called :)

dn 35 speed test says 18.3mbs, but live streaming of vids is imposible constantly buffering:(

yeah i get about the same when i do the speed test on here but nearly everything else is impossible

just tried a download from GigaNews in DN35 & it was all over the shop, mainly ok , i.e. usually > 400KB/s , but spiky, I normally get a steady 480KB/s, or so, and it went down to 0 KB/s at one point, before picking back up.

- and it isn't due to shaping, as it went back to over 400KB/s, not the 235, or so, I get when shaped :)

DN40 here, been getting poor speeds all weekend since ''upgrading'' to 20mb

engineer booked to come this afternoon.. hope he turns up


however got the full speed at 5.30am when i tested it!

no doubt it will be back down to <2mb in a couple of hours though..
