As your installation is new, I'll assume that it is? This being the case (when you signed up with VM) you should have got a letter from them confirming the contract and all of your details etc?

If you can find that letter, then the information contained within same should have all the information that customer services require. find that and then get in contact with them again.

Good luck and Si thee

Throw it away as it isn't going to work.

As for the install problems a member of the team may be able to help you with it

Good advice to throw it away as you are handling stolen goods. All equipment for connection to cable in this country is the property of Virgin Media. I hope you didn't part with too many pennies for your paperweight.

you dont need a password to set up your broadband, connect the modem to the pc,direct internet explorer to 80.5.178.26 and follow on screen instructions. You will need a pin number if you have not been given 1 contact cs on 150 and ask for one,if one has not been created they can create one for you.

Good advice to throw it away as you are handling stolen goods. All equipment for connection to cable in this country is the property of Virgin Media. I hope you didn't part with too many pennies for your paperweight. Not necessarily stolen goods... you can buy cable boxes legally, such as a Dreambox. Using it on their network is undoubtedly against VM's terms and conditions though.

Yes but I did say:

'All equipment for connection to cable in this country....'

Anyone is welcome to waste their money on equipment which cannot provide them with a service.
